Our Pricing Explained
We believe IT pricing should be straightforward. That’s why our Essentials plan is the core of everything we do, leading with a security first posture with our IT Security Baseline.
With a simple per-user model that gives every business a reliable foundation of support.
From there, you can upgrade to Professional – Standard or Professional – Platinum packages for more advanced protection and infrastructure support. We also have add-ons and extras like Microsoft 365 licensing, VoIP bundles, or project work, so you can build your bespoke level of service.
Our Platinum package already includes the Microsoft Business Premium license, this means you do not need to purchase it separately for your business.
This ensures we can setup your business Microsoft Tenant securely and ready for your business.
This means your package is always tailored to what your business needs. And if you’d rather not commit to an annual or monthly plan, we also offer transparent hourly and day rate options.
Not ready for an IT Support Plan? We do offer maintenance plans, even one that will protect your computers from the latest threats.
Our maintenance plans DO NOT include any IT Support hours, this will be charged at our hourly rate.

Transparent Add-Ons, Specialist Plans and Rates
Not every business has the same needs. Our add-ons can be built into your plan whenever you need them. We also offer Microsoft 365 Tenant Management or Network Management or this can be combined for a total plan.
Microsoft 365 Licensing & VOIP Bundles
Your Microsoft 365 licences are billed separately and tailored to your setup, so you only pay for what you need.
Our Platinum support tier INCLUDES Microsoft Business Premium, this is to ensure a fully secure setup.
And if you’re ready to modernise your phones, we can add a cloud-based VoIP system.
Hourly Rates
If you don’t have a monthly plan, we can still help on an hourly basis.
- On-site support: £125/hr + VAT (within office hours)
- Emergency support: 1.5× the standard hourly rate
- Admin, remote or home-related work: £100/hr + VAT (within office hours)
- Minimum billing: 30 minutes for standard issues; 1 hour for Outlook or remote jobs
- Travel time: Charged at the hourly rate (unless local within 15 miles)
Hourly support is already included in our remote support plans unless otherwise specified.
Banked Hours
If you’d rather not commit to a monthly plan, you can pre-purchase a block of hours at a reduced rate. Use them as and when you need for projects, onsite work, or extra support.
Example pricing:
- 40 hours = £3,200 (£80/hour)
- 30 hours = £2,550 (£85/hour)
- 20 hours = £1,800 (£90/hour)
Our standard ad-hoc rate is £125/hr + VAT, so banked hours give you better value and more flexibility.
Day Rates
For larger projects or onboarding, it can make sense to book an engineer for the day. We offer straightforward daily rates depending on the level of expertise required:
- Desktop engineer: £700/day
- Microsoft 365 engineer: £800/day
- Network engineer: £850/day
- Senior consultant: £1,000/day
A cost-effective way to get focused support, without the clock ticking by the hour.
Maintenance
Ideal for companies that just need to ensure updates and general maintenance is completed. Support will be chargeable.

Maintenance plans include the following:

We will attempt to auto-remediate any issues, if we have to do any remote support or if on-site work is required, this will then be charged at our hourly rates.
Our support model is designed to give you responsive, cost-effective cover. A minimum of 5 users ensures we can deliver the right level of service and maintain the standards we promise.
Maintenance plans and our Networking plan DO NOT have a user minimum as it is a flat rate monthly fee.
Yes. We provide the same level of support for Apple Mac and Windows devices. Many of our clients use a mix, and we’re fully equipped to handle both.
If a monthly plan doesn’t suit you, you can use our ad-hoc options. Hourly, banked hours, and day rates all give you flexibility without committing to a support plan.
Alternatively, you can opt for one of our Maintenance Plans, we have:
- Maintenance - Windows updates, software checks, Cleanups, temporary file removal, defragmentation.
- Maintenance + EDR - As above plus our Next-Gen Antivirus, ensure no viruses or malware enters your system.
Emergency cover is included in our Essentials plan, and 24/7 support is available through our Platinum upgrade. For ad-hoc clients, evening and weekend support is charged at 1.5× the standard rate.
Yes. Our plans are designed to be flexible. You can move from Essentials to Professional - Standard or Professional - Platinum, or add extra services, as your needs evolve. We’ll review things with you regularly to make sure you’re always on the right package.
No, as long as you are only requiring Microsoft Business Premium then Hamilton Group includes this in the price.
We do this because we want to be able to set our Cyber Security settings to their optimum, this includes securing your Microsoft 365 tenant and making sure everything is compliant.
